Etiquette at the academy

1. Always be respectful and kind;2. Be on time for the class. If late, wait for acknowledgement from the coach to enter onto the mat; 3. Greet the teacher and your fellow training partners; 4. Do not talk when the coach is talking;5. Notify the coach if you need to leave the class;6. Use clean, dry, and rip free uniform to all classes (Gi and No-Gi);7. Shoes, drinks and food are not allowed on the mat;8. Loud screaming and profane language is prohibited in the academy;9. Be open-minded to learn; 10. Practice your weakness;11. Tap out if needed, never resist due to pride;12. If you lose, try again;13. If you win, be respectful;14. Be humble and leave your ego outside;15. Have fun!

Health and Hygiene

1. Maintain good personal hygiene;2. Keep finger and toenails trimmed;3. Shoes or sandals must be worn at all times when not on the mat;4. Avoid training if you are sick or have cold/flu and skin infection symptoms;5. Report any injuries or health conditions to the coach before the start of the class.
